KIRANJIT KAUR

Kiran was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2014. She completed her pupillage at Shearn Delamore & Co and joined the Corporate and Commercial Department as a legal associate. Subsequently, she continued her practice at Gananathan Loh as a corporate and litigation lawyer before joining Donny & Ong in 2016. Kiran was recently promoted as a partner of the firm.

 

She has been involved in various international corporate transactions in areas such as foreign investment, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory and strategic planning, corporate restructurings and regulatory compliance. She is also well versed in handling matters related to payment systems, electronic money and electronic wallet, and other areas related to the realm of financial technology.   

 

She has dealt with construction matters at both corporate and litigation level and was involved in the drafting and amendment stages of construction projects such as the Project Delivery Partner Agreement and Conditions of Contract for Pan Borneo Highway (Sabah) that involved the Attorney General’s Chamber, Jabatan Kerja Raya and other governmental bodies and corporate agreements relating to state projects. She has also handled contentious construction matters involving the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act.
